Murrayfield Stadium - The Flying Scot
Named after a legendary Scottish rugby player, The Flying Scot is a sophisticated space that embodies the spirit of excellence and camaraderie that defined the golden era of Scottish rugby.
Delivered as a full refurbishment by BJM Design Ltd, the interior has been transformed into an opulent, club-style environment that balances heritage charm with contemporary luxury. The design is anchored by striking, dark botanical wallpaper in warm earth tones, creating an intimate and immersive backdrop. Above, the ceiling features dramatic circular coffers lined with warm, copper-hued finishes, from which hang distinctive, feathery white chandeliers that cast a soft, ambient glow across the room.

Murrayfield Stadium - Kit Store Bar
The Kit Store Bar is a vibrant new addition to Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, introduced as part of the stadium improvements for the 2025/2026 season to enhance the overall matchday experience.
Delivered by BJM Design Ltd, this new space embraces a distinctively industrial and utilitarian aesthetic that pays homage to the rugged, hardworking spirit of the game. Moving away from traditional polished hospitality, the design features raw, exposed concrete floors and unfinished ceiling services, creating an authentic, “behind-the-scenes” atmosphere. The fit-out utilises robust, functional materials including natural plywood joinery for bar counters and partitions, and custom tables constructed from scaffolding poles and timber tops. This deliberate, no-frills approach creates a unique, social environment that feels connected to the grassroots and physical nature of rugby.

Murrayfield Stadium - Clubhouse
Scottish rugby’s grassroots game now has a proud, visible home at the heart of Scottish Gas Murrayfield with the introduction of Clubhouse—a refreshed hospitality space designed to bring people together in a setting that feels welcoming, contemporary and unmistakably rugby.
Delivered as a full refurbishment by BJM Design Ltd, the project transforms the interior into a warm, premium environment that balances modern stadium hospitality with character-led detailing. The space features inviting seating layouts, a refined bar backdrop and joinery-led finishes, while the ceiling installation of suspended rugby balls creates a bold focal point and a strong sense of identity—celebrating the game from community level upwards.

BJM Design Ltd delivered the full refurbishment of Ruby’s pub and restaurant in East Kilbride, transforming the existing space into a modern, welcoming venue aligned with the client’s vision and brand. Working closely with the client from the outset, BJM provided support in developing the concept and translating ideas into a practical, high-quality design, ensuring the finished environment was both visually striking and fully functional.
